The Long Branch Bar is located at 204 Strong Highway in El Dorado, Arkansas. The establishment has been at that location since 1993. In 1993 the local bar upgraded to a private club. Along with it being a private club comes with a much-envied license because it is on of the few remaining in the state that allows sale of liquor after 2AM. This type of license is no longer an option for new clubs, but the Long Branch Saloon is grandfathered in, and provides the clubgoer a place to go after the other establishments close. For this reason alone, this increases the value of the club well above the standard going rate. The owner has acquired an amusement license to be able to provide and promote entertainment. Tobacco permit allows tobacco to be sold. Live music and karaoke are regular activities as well as pool tournaments, and dart competitions. All permits are up to date and all laws are observed. The business is located just off Hillsboro Street on the east side of town where the city is expanding with much needed upgrades to the streets. The Long Branch is an important part of the community and has been in operation for more than 50 years and counting.
