The Northwest Herbine 160 (#03019-03940) is a ±160-acre tract of timberland located in Cleveland County about ten miles southeast of Rison, AR (North 33.841262°, West 92.086058°). The property features an assortment of both merchantable hardwood and natural pine. Access to the western side of the property is available with a dirt woodsroad running for about a third of a mile east from AR-Hwy 35. Additional access to the southeast corner of the tract is also available using a gated woodsroad running northerly for about a half-mile from AR-Hwy 35. An intermittent creek drain runs through the center of the property creating pockets of cypress wetland habitat. The boundary lines of the property are well-marked with yellow paint. The topography is generally flat to gently rolling. According to the USDA NRCS web soil survey, the property consists of an assortment of sandy-silt loams which give the tract a weighted average site index of 88.9 feet for Loblolly Pine (base age 50) for the portion rated.
