McBride Stone was started in 1948 by Oran McBride and has been run by the McBride family ever since. McBride Stone has 2 locations: its sandstone quarry and black marble quarry, and the saw shop is located north of Batesville near Bethesda, looking over the White River, consisting of 410 +/- Acres with the railroad cutting through the upper northwest corner for the great possibility to have shipping access to the railroad! The saw shop is located near the community of Wideman in Izard County, with 340 +/- acres with Quarry Road Access just off Wideman Road. At this quarry you have multiple layers of greys, tans along with many other various known colors! These layers range from 2-10 ft thick. Exploring here would be very interesting! The sandstone and both marble quarries are great investments, for all 3 quarries have barely been touched! When you buy this, you will get both the Independence and Izard County farms consisting of about 750 +/- Acres total, some overlooking the White River, good access, railroad going through the corner of Independence Co. piece, and all equipment!
